This is my only place to really rant without coworkers or other people going ooh look she's complaining about her job.
I am really frustrated by the company I work for. I have worked my ass off for 2 years here. I got a raise was pretty happy with that and learned a few new skills. After a year of being here I stayed longer than I should to make sure the job got done which in turn led to my bosses expecting me to stay for hours when the other girl would always leave early every single time. Instead of getting overtime (like I should) because I covered her shift while she was on vacation they gave me a flip flop schedule so that I worked barely to my 40 hours a week for the two weeks she was gone, but I had to do double the work. RIDICULOUS. Then these last few months they have had me doing more managerial work but not paying me a higher pay but then turn around and chastise me for working the work load of 5 people. Seriously, why do companies do that sort of thing? You expect me to be absolutely perfect and be on the ball about everything but if I as a question its "I don't know" yet say "If you need help ask". Clearly... not working. Its time to leave. Tomorrow I put in my two weeks. Its going to completely screw the night guys and I do feel bad because I do like everyone there personally but just because I am friends with a lot of these people doesn't mean that is going to keep me there. Being a friend isn't going to bring my stress level down or pay my bills...
